Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Chrome extension “Hyo-nuki” (“the Software”) and its paid Pro features. By using the Software you agree to them. The Japanese version of these terms is the authoritative one; this page is a summary in English.
1. Provider
The Software is provided by Many Lights, a sole proprietorship based in Japan (“we”). The name of the proprietor will be provided without delay upon request.
2. License
We grant you a non-transferable right to use the Software for your own business or personal purposes. A Pro license key may be used by the purchaser in their own Chrome browsers.
3. You must not
- share, resell, lend, or publish a license key;
- modify and redistribute the Software;
- use the Software in breach of the law or of the terms of the websites you visit;
- use exported content in a way that infringes anyone's rights, including copyright.
4. Exported content
The Software only converts tables from pages you are viewing, inside your own browser. You are responsible for checking that your use of that content is allowed.
5. Payment and refunds
Pro is a one-time purchase. Purchases cannot be refunded once the license key has been issued, except where Pro does not work because of a fault on our side or where the law requires otherwise.
6. No warranty; limitation of liability
We do not guarantee that the Software will export every table correctly or that it is fit for a particular purpose. Please check exported data before relying on it. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rights of the country where you live still apply.
7. Changes
We may change or stop providing the Software. If we stop providing it, we will announce this on this site at least 30 days before. We may update these terms; when we do, we will announce the effective date and the changes on this site in advance.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over disputes about the Software.
